David Tennant 'Cannot Confirm Nor Deny' Return To Doctor Who

Will he return for a special 50th Anniversary special?

Fans of Doctor Who may want to take a seat if they’re reading this, as former Doctor Who actor David Tennant who played the tenth Doctor, before generating into the show’s current star Matt Smith, recently discussed rumours about a possible return!

The long running Sci Fi show will soon be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2013 and producers are keen to turn this special event into somewhat of a Doctor Who reunion, with a whole host of familiar faces set to make a cameo.

However Tennant was keeping cards very close to his chest and played down any potential rumours surrounding the story by saying: "I cannot be drawn on anything," in an interview with G4TV's Attack Of The Show.

"Who knows what will happen next year? I'm sure there are lots of plans being discussed.

"I am not confirming nor denying anything." teased the 41 year old

Talking about the Olympics, of which Tennant famously lit the torch…although not the real one of course! An episode back in 2006 saw the Doctor igniting the Olympic flame, and of course with his recent stint as narrator on the BBC comedy series Twenty Twelve you’d think he would have had a role in the London 2012 opening ceremony, to which Tennant joked:

"What happened? What went wrong? I was waiting for the phone call... there was an online petition apparently, which the London Organising Committee chose to ignore!"

The seventh series of Doctor Who will return to TV screens later in the month, with an opening episode set to feature the dramatic departure of Amy Pond!

Would you like to see David Tennant return to the show?

Az TARDIS at Reid Park Zoo

Az TARDIS is a group of Doctor Who enthusiasts who enjoy getting together, dressing up and talking about all things Who.  I was recently invited to join the group at my local Zoo (Reid Park Zoo) where they wanted to just hang out and take photos in their cosplay outfits.

Being that K9 has been cooped up indoors since Phoenix ComiCon I decided that this would be a nice opportunity to meet some like minded people and for K9 to get out of the house.

Oh and yeah, thats me in my Ood costume.... I wore it only for a few minutes due to just how hot it was but in those few minutes we got some very cool photos.

Another cool part of the cosplay scene is the videos, heres two that I put together.

One last stroll

Update: 05:56 Thanks to Sandi for the heads up on this update from his wife.

- For all asking @steven_moffat is well and currently having a family lunch but he's got a huge amount on and twitter was proving a distraction

As yet we don't know the reason for him deleting his account, but I can certainly understand where he is coming from. I dont know why I feel the need to update everyone ont he fact that Im about to have a cup of coffee..... anyway, if it is just a simple case of Twitter being a distraction then good for him.
