My friends at TeeVillian.com have very kindly given me the opportunity to giveaway one of my “Hard Dalek, Cold Dalek” shirts this week leading up to the shirt being available for purchase on Monday (14th Oct)….

So what should we do in ways of a competition…. Well heres how you can enter.

I want you to record yourself singing (yes… singing) the “Hard Dalek, Cold Dalek” song.  I need for you to upload the video to either Facebook, Twitter or even YouTube and post the link on my Facebook Page (http://www.facebook.com/paulbradfordghi) now you can just sit in front of your webcam and recite the poem or you can get creative, make it stand out.  I want you to use your imagination, no holds barred….

I've become a lot more selective about the shirts I chose to promote, I think its more a case of I'm tired of bow ties and fezzes all the time.  Yes I get that they are cool, but really does every t-shirt have to have them on it?  We really do need to see some more Classic Who stuff.  At least with this its a cool little mash up, Star Wars and Doctor Who fantastic.  And although there will be the few who say Daleks arent droids I say get over it.

I have been wanting to draw a design like this for a while. I love robots of all kinds, and this project was an opportunity to practice my lettering and banner work. This design came about through a collaboration with my brother. I’ll admit the most I remember about the show is the old trippy theme and opening sequence (at least back in the 80s or 70s reruns, not sure which). But I’ve been intrigued by the show’s growth in popularity. Plus I like sci-fi, time travel and robots. But getting back to the design, we wanted to do something a little different. We decided on a product logo/ad for a sonic screwdriver. I chose this version and my brother told me it was the Mark VI. He basically wrote all the text and I ran with the art part of it. We hope you like it.

My Doctor Who T-Shirt Collection

I just wanted to share some of my Doctor Who T-Shirt collection, most of these I got from teefury.com or riptapparel.com with the odd exception of store.glennz.com and obviously the official BBC releases... But I particularly like Tee Fury and RIPT Apparel as they offer one off Ts for $10, the only thing is they are only available for 24hours so I have to check them everyday.  Also of late Ive noticed there's been a couple of not so good shirts being offered, its like quantity instead of quality but still now and again you get a real gem...

When I put them all out on the page I feel like I have more... Im sure I do... and if I do Ill update this page so anyway, just sharing my collection...
